Abstract
In the conditions of modern scientific, economic and technical progress in all spheres of human activity, including in education, there is a need to create opportunities for education and life-long education. A modern teacher needs to be prepared for continuous improvement and improvement of his qualification. The rapid pace of development of education, the need for continuous improvement of skills require new forms and methods of working with teachers, there is a need for the introduction of new educational technologies that increase the effectiveness of the educational process. Interesting is the experience of Slovenia, which participates in international projects, events and initiatives that promote the development of the teacher's IC's competence.
