Abstract
The article analyzes some aspects of psychologists' work with the servicemen who return from the ATO zone. The author discusses the procedural aspects of instructions, diagnoses, interventions as well as different psyhotherapeutic methods and techniques that can be used as a basis for novice rehabilitator-psychologists in their work with ATO veterans. The author emphasizes the importance of theoretical models of rehabilitation and the practical recommendations for psychologists based on the latest research on servicemen's post-traumatic adjustment and renewal and their building safe personal space. The article also presents a one-week plan of psychologists' work based on a teamwork model and activation of patients' personal resources to positively transform their negative war experiences. It is concluded that each method and technique has its limitations and advantages depending on the type of the problem and the psychologist's personality, education, culture and professionalism.
