Abstract
The article reveals the essence of the notion “educational district” and analyzes social conditions and various reasons that have become an impetus to activate certain activities of educational districts as a new sociopedagogical system. It is emphasized that “educational district” is the most effective structure in order to organize the professional orientation of senior pupils. In addition, it has an important capacity to create and support an integrated system of forms, methods and means aimed at personality’s motivation in successful professional self-determination and labor formation.
