Abstract

The article tells about the necessity of forming research and information competence of future travel agents. It is conducted the analysis of basic problems at teaching the subject «Information technologies» in accordance with the State standard of vocational education of the profession «Travel Agent». The author determines new approaches to forming research and information competence on the example of introduction and approbation of the experimental program of the subject «Information technologies».
