Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration of topical issues of creation of conceptual and methodological support of the activity of general educational institutions on the formation of prosocial behavior of students. According to the author, the methodological approach is a complex pedagogical tool thatincludes the following components: the basic concepts that are used in the process of organization, management and updating of educational activity; principles as initial provisions or main rules for the implementation of educational activities; receptions and methods of constructing the educational process. The author focuses on the essential features of the ecological, competence, systemic and person-oriented approaches that determine the contenttechnological guidelines for the formation of prosocial behavior among students in general education institutions. The researcher believes that the universal approach is systemic, because he directs the researcher and the teacher-practitioner to the need for an analysis of any phenomena of life. With this approach, a person-centered approach is very closely linked, which means orientation when planning and implementing the educational process on the person as a goal, subject, result and the main criterion of its effectiveness. The environmental approach, in the author’s opinion, takes into account that as a result of the interaction of the environment and personality a way of life appears, the main features of which are determined by the conditions of the environment. However, the researcher notes that in modern science, there is a steady tendency to establish the concept of “competence approach” and comprehension of its essence. This is because the implementation of this approach is based on the understanding that the progress of mankind depends not only on economic growth, but on the level of development of the individual. The competence approach, the author emphasizes, is the focus of the pedagogical process on the formation and development of key (basic) and substantive competencies; methodological orientation of pedagogical (educational) activity on the development of vital competencies, the development of a constructive life strategy and individual and personal technologies of personality liveliness in the process of education. In this case, the activity approach requires a special work on the formation of the child’s activities, from translating it into the position of the subject of knowledge, work and communication. The author notes that competence, person-oriented and activity approaches are closely interrelated and concludes the need for further scientific research into the implementation of effective socio-pedagogical technologies in order to forma prosocial behavior of students.
