Abstract
The program of development, training and upbringing of children of preschool age with delay of mental development "Viconechko" is the first component of scientific and methodological materials related to the modernization of the content of special preschool education in Ukraine and the humanization of its goals and objectives. The program reveals the essence of psychomotor, cognitive, speech, social development and peculiarities of the development of play, visual and constructive activity of children of preschool age with a delay of mental development. The main educational tasks are revealed, the content of pedagogical work is disclosed, advice is provided to parents, and the approximate results of educational work with preschool children with mental retardation of different age groups are determined. "Vykonechko" is the first state program of a new type, which reflects the requirements for the development, education and training of a child of preschool age with a delay in mental development. The program is intended for pedagogical workers of special preschool institutions, groups, educational complexes, parents, students and teachers of higher pedagogical educational institutions, which are concerned with the problem of training and upbringing of preschoolers with a delay of mental development.
