Abstract

In the article a division into periods of development of method of teaching Ukrainian literature is offered taking into account high-quality changes in a purpose, tasks, maintenance, methods and forms of school literary education, characteristic for every historical period. Correlation of subject method with the basic stages of development of national history and culture the values of the Ukrainian educational ideal are accumulated in which is grounded.
