Abstract
The article specifies that today serious methodological and theoretical work of specialists in the field of special psychology is needed, which should be aimed at a meaningful review of many entrenched but rather contradictory theoretical positions on which the psychological concepts of development have been based for a long time. The author proposes the basic principles necessary for understanding the main regularities of the formation and development of the personality in conditions of dysontogenesis.
