Abstract
The article deals with the analysis of scientific approaches to the development of criteria and indicators of development of professional competence. The criteria, indicators, levels of development of professional competence of heads of departments of communication companies (on the example of heads of sales service and customer service departments) are determined. The main criteria are motivational-value, intellectual-cognitive, operational-activity and personality. The indicators of levels of development of professional competence of the researched category of managers are revealed. It was revealed that motivational-value criteria includes motivation to work, demonstration of loyalty to the enterprise, attentive attitude towards customers, building of long-term relationships and maximizing customer satisfaction. Intellectual-cognitive criteria includes professional, psychological, andragogical and organizational and managerial knowledge. It was also revealed that operational-activity criteria includes professional, communicative, andragogical, organizational and managerial skills. Personal criterion includes professionally important qualities that are necessary for the qualitative performance of professional duties: perseverance, confidence, activity, initiative, adaptability, high level of self-regulation, the ability to self-organizing work, prioritizing tasks, clear planning of their own activities, focus on the result.
