Abstract

The object of the article is: definition of content and subject matter of the notion «bad habits» and determination of their types; determination of factors and circumstances of bad habits’ formation of teenagers of orphan boarding schools. The sources from research problem are analyzed in different disciplines. The timeliness of research problem in different historical periods of mankind development is stated. The content of «bad habits» definition treatment in intersubject scientific aspect is revealed. The mechanism of tobacco, alcohol and drugs’ effect at psychophysical state of teenagers of teenagers is examined in details and the transition to problems clarification that cause the appearance of bad habits of teenagers is made, as it is necessary to know their reasons for the correct organization of bad habits preventive measures. Also it is pointed in the article that factors of bad habits formation is only the objective preconditions of bad habits formation. Only their conjunction with certain circumstances causes the bad habits formation. The appearance of bad habits is viewed as non-productive form of way out, which is characterized with the complication of self-gratification. Such discontent provokes the emotional tension and can have the contradictory character: or stimulate the accelerated development of certain qualities of a personality after negotiation of contradiction, in other words causes the transition to the higher level of self-regulation; or (if there is no interference of teachers, psychologists or parents) may cause the appearance of bad habits. The circumstances of bad habits formation are divided into three groups: social, biological and individual psychological. The article accentuates on the importance of understanding that a human can learn to stand against bad habits, as there are a lot of those, in particular among addicted people, who refused from harmful psychoactive substances because it is possible to uncover and stand against the addiction appearance thanks to coherent efforts of specialists and parents. It is presented the results of research which allow to assert that growing age is a difficult period in which bad habits formation may take place in connection with of active outpouring of maladjusted symptom complexes: expressed domination of feeling of insecurity, anxiety, proneness to conflict and depressiveness.
