Abstract
Dissertation for the degree of candidate of psychological sciences, specialty 19.00.07 – pedagogical and age psychology. – Kyiv University named after Borys Grinchenko, Kiev, 2014. The dissertation is devoted to the research of psychological characteristics of gifted adolescents’ self-knowledge development. On the basis of theoretical analysis the model of gifted adolescents’ self-knowledge development is proved. The psychological peculiarities of gifted adolescents’ self-knowledge development are experimentally identified. The levels (biological individual, social individual, personality) and the criteria (orientation, temporal characteristics, cognitive structure, direction of self-knowledge) of gifted adolescents’ self-knowledge development are defined. The program of gifted adolescents’ self-knowledge development is grounded, developed and tested. The effectiveness of the program is proved by the positive dynamics of gifted adolescents’ reflexivity and self-awareness enhance. Based on the results of the research the recommendations for educators, psychologists and students aimed at gifted adolescents’ self-knowledge activation are developed.
