Abstract
The article contains partial results of an empirical study of the influence of media on family life in general and family communication in particular. The features of family discussion of media content, which comes from various sources, are identified. It is concluded that kids support and become the representatives of the media-behavioral models which originate from the soap-operas and documentaries. Parents underestimate the impact of soap-operas on formation of primary school age children.
