Abstract
The main provisions of the concept of twelve-year general secondary education in the project of a unified school created in Ukraine during the Ukrainian Revolution (1917–1921), which could contribute to the development of a national democratic school, are revealed. It is argued that the document in question is a valuable source on the history of national education.
