Abstract

The article presents the results of the studies characterizing peculiarities of manifestation by military servicemen of the post-traumatic stress disorder caused by extreme factors of combat operations. The express-questionnaire for post trau-matic stress disorder (PTSD) examining shows that the fifth of the respondents likely have PTSD. The indicators of the Traumatic Stress Questionnaire show manifestations of “posttraumatic stress disorder” and “acute stress disorder” at 26% - 30% of military servicemen, additional 10% - 13% have “partial” manifesta-tions. According to the Mississippi Scale for Combat-Related PTSD, the number of military personnel having a high PTSD probability is 26%. According to the Scale of Traumatic Event Impact Assessing, high levels of “invasion”, “avoidance” and “physiological ecitation” are determined at 24 - 32% of the respondents. Severe depressive tendencies have 16%.
