Abstract

In accordance with the current program, from the Ukrainian language in the third grade it is provided to familiarize the students with the period of the orthogram, as well as the formation of the skills to find words and orthograms in the sentence and text, to check them, to comment on the application of spelling rules while spelling words that contain orthograms. In the conditions of study of junior schoolchildren of the Ukrainian language on the principles of the competence approach to the formation of the concept of the orthogram, it is necessary to carry out in the process of active learning and cognitive activity, that is, to involve the students in observation, analysis, formulation of the conclusion and rule. The application of this approach will be demonstrated in the fragment of the lesson on the topic "Orthogram".
