Abstract

The article is devoted to highlighting of certain aspects of cooperation between the Institute for Pedagogical and Adult Education NAPS of Ukraine and Melitopol Bohdan Khmelnitsky State Pedagogical University. The fundamental and applied directions of cooperation have been substantiated. A brief analysis of work of the Science and Methodology Center of Adult Education at Melitopol Bohdan Khmelnitsky State Pedagogical University has been made. It is proved that the work of adult education centers established at the universities as centers of non-formal education is addressed to satisfy the cultural and educational needs of different categories of adults. The promising directions in the academic and university cooperation in the context of non-formal adult education in Ukraine have been outlined.
