Abstract

Features of psychophysical development of blind children and children with visual impairments require specific organization of the content of education, methods and techniques of training and education. Specially organized training promotes the formation of social competence of children with visual impairments. Therefore, the curriculum of the special secondary school for children with visual impairments provided by the unit correctional and developing classes, one part of which is orientation in space. The program includes a comprehensive system of training of special skills, focused on the formation of the blind younger students compensatory ways of working simultaneously with correction of the primary and secondary variations in development in order to achieve optimal integration in modern conditions of life.
