Abstract

Programs labor training for preparatory, 1-4 classes aimed a timplementing the goals and objectives of the educational field "Technology", preparedinaccordance withtheModelCurriculumspecialeducationalinstitutionforchildrenwithintellectual disability. Theyaredesignedtomeetthecognitiveabilitiesofstudentswithmentalretardationandfacilitatecorrectionofpsychophysicaldevelopmentintheeducationalprocess. Based on the structure and the amount of training material it is the basic program. Based on the conditions of education and the possibility of furtheremployment of graduates the school chooses the appropriate types of work, clarifies the content of basic programs (some topics might not be covered) or develops new ones for other types of employment. Distribution of training time is approximate, the teacher can change the number of hours allocated to various topics within the hours of the curriculum, taking into account the level of students' abilities.
