Abstract
The ethno national aspect of the system’s formation of the national educational ideals in the Underrussian Ukraine in XIX – early XX century are considered as the synthesis of several scientific approaches which related to the questions of national specifics formation of personality’s ideal in the legal field of Russian Empire. Comparative and regional approaches provide the selection of common and various in national ideals that were formed in different ethnic communities in Ukraine. Geo-cultural approach considers the geographical environment and ethnos as “a certain integrity” that focuses on a certain educational ideal in the process of rational programming of social life. Sociocultural approach is based on the principle of unity of logical and historical in the history of pedagogy and directs at research of the society, namely external cultural-historical and socio-political conditions, that predetermined the transformation of the content and effectiveness of national educational ideals. Biographical approach is based on the principle of unity of individual and general and helps to focus attention of the researcher on the internal logical determinants: learning of the individual path and life experience of the referent personality of the certain national community at the different stages of their development. Valuable (axiological) approach promotes awareness of the national through universal and personal, separates national ideals from absolute eternal, civil, family and personal ones. Historical and philological approach (critical) provides a detailed analysis of various literary sources that are actively and at different vectors reflected the transformations of national educational ideals in native theory and practice.
