Abstract

In the article the author offers one of the ways of methodology of literature education as a science periodization which provides six stages in the history of development of methodological idea. Each of them is related to the corresponding historical period of national cultural development. The nature of the Ukrainian educational ideal of the corresponding historical epoch is taken into account within determination and description of certain periods of development.
