Abstract

In the article the essence, the components, criteria, indicators and the levels of health-saving component of secondary students’ digital competence are defined. It is substantiated the idea that knowledge, skills, values concerning health-saving use of software and hardware should be considered within the digital competence as one of its components. It is emphasized the fact that the forming of this component is a priority condition of health-saving use of software and hardware in the learning process.
