Abstract

In this article the Ukrainian school literature education features in 20-40 of XX century is observed. The question of teaching Literature at school that is influenced by foreign literature, especially under “Dalton-plan” and “projects method” is considered. The contribution of O. Biletskyi and A. Mashkin in the national literature education development process is determined and their methodical heritage is characterized. The educational programmes, school books and methodical textbooks of Ukrainian literature in 20-40 years are shortly analyzed. The actual methodical views of P. Volynskyi, A. Snezhkova and M. Rybnykova on literature reading methods in secondary school are accented. The importance of positive achievements understanding of Soviet methodical science and expedience of their use in literature educational process in modern school is emphasized.
