Abstract

The synchronistic table highlights significant discoveries in chemistry, biology, physics, astronomy and geography on the background of the most important facts of global history, literature and art. The table is developed in line with the secondary school syllabus of various academic subjects. This tool helps to develop students’ holistic view of historic eras when the major natural sciences discoveries were made. Apart from using it for reference purposes teachers will find it applicable to the variety of learning formats – integrated lessons, discussions, workshops, seminars, problem-centric learning cases modelling and students’ projects.
