Abstract
The monograph mainstreams theoretical principles of psychological and educational diagnostics of aesthetic giftedness of preschool children and secondary school pupils. It specifies the essence of the “aesthetic giftedness” concept in accordance with age-appropriate maturation of this phenomenon; determines the relationship between aesthetic, intellectual and creative giftedness of secondary school students; grounds new approaches to aesthetic giftedness diagnostics. It offers innovative methods of aesthetic giftedness identification and appropriate educational support. The theoretical material of this monograph is used to develop textbooks and programs in design and technology, which introduced in secondary schools by the authors. For practical psychologists, teachers, parents and students of higher educational institutions and giftedness sphere researchers.
