Abstract

Institute of information technologies and learning tools is the main scientific institution for Informatization of NAPS of Ukraine and within the limits of this direction: develops and submits to the Presidium of NAPS of Ukraine the main directions of the corporate scientific and technical policy of the Academy of Informatization, a conceptual and theoretical and technological bases of Informatization of NAPS of Ukraine, scientific-methodological conditions of their systematic implementation; when performing works related to information, ensures compliance with academic institutions and educational institutions of the Academy of the conceptual foundations and the priorities of the implementation of the corporate scientific and technical policy of Informatization of NAPS of Ukraine. The Institute is headed by doctor of technical Sciences, full member of NAPS of Ukraine, laureate of State prize of Ukraine in science and technology Valery Bykov. The activities of the Institute are due to the necessity of realization of new challenges facing the education of Ukraine and require the formation of a qualitatively new educational environment, which would be consistent with future trends of scientific-technological and socio-cultural development of society, the latest achievements of psychological and pedagogical science and educational practice in Ukraine and abroad. Today there is six divisions which cover issues of researches on creation of modern teaching AIDS and ICT.
