Abstract

The article deals with the ways of patriotic education of pupils in the process of teaching mathematics. The content of the concepts of "patriotism" and "patriotic upbringing" is revealed. The systematization of dissertation works on the education of patriotism in educational institutions of various levels is carried out. The structure of patriotism is analyzed. The basic directions of patriotic education are determined. The peculiarities of patriotic education in the process of teaching mathematics in the basic school are highlighted. Particular examples of the implementation of patriotic education of pupils in mathematics lessons are considered.
