Abstract

Georgy Chelpanov (1862-1936) - Ukrainian, Russian and Soviet eminent philosopher and psychologist, author of several scientific papers and textbooks. His creative period of his life as a scientist developed in Kiev and Moscow. The basic idea behind all of his scientific work was the explanation of the relation of physical and spiritual. G.I.Chelpanov is one of the founders of the psychological theories, which are then examined, studied and developed in psychology and that in the Stalinist period were amenable to devastating criticism, and for a long time concealed in psychological science. The scientist in the late nineteenth century has predetermined direction of modern psychological research, and made their scientific theorist.
