Abstract
Analyzed the formation of personal information culture as a function of abstract information. The attention is focused on the subject of motivation to seek and verify information. Accented the role of abstract information overcome information overload personality and establishing scientific communication. Lighted the value of the ability to obtain information on their own researchers. The notion of «professional culture of personality» and «information competence». Examined the phenomenon of information overload, media-manipulation and destructive impacts of information. Investigated the formation of a high-level personal information culture as a means to counter the «information of intoxication».
